Thank you to everyone who left kind words about my last post. Half-term arrived bringing lots of time to rest and get back in touch with my sewing machine, so I am feeling much more human now.
Not quite what your grandma used to make. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. The autumn air is crisp, the only bright colors outside are the turning leave, and inside the battle to process all those pounds of apples continue. Thankfully the coolness of the garage is keeping the apples crisp and I bought a stockpile of mason jars. Once grilled we slathered some chutney onto the chops and it was delicious! Definitely worth making a whole lot more. So Gingerbread Apple Pie is would be! .

On the Hunt to Find Hoodoos. We did a quick google search and the park is pretty much halfway between Edson and Hinton; according to google, Sundance Provincial Park is about a 45-minute drive from either location. We decided to use Edson as a base as all the pet friendly places were booked up in Hinton. My seedlings have sprouted! March 17, 2011.

My Sketch Saturday challenge week 191. Every week a sketch is put on a blog with a challenge to make a project using it and this is my entry. I stained a paper doily to make the skirt and gold voile ribbon. I stained the card edges with Tim Holtz Soot ink stamped the swirls with a pale brown ink. I embellished with Pearl gems and ribbon.
