Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Over the years I have googled topics I wasnt familiar with and one of the first URLs to come up was Wikipedia. I thought Wow, what an awesome resource. It was several months after my first exposure that I found out that it was a compilation of opinions and expertise and that anyone could add or make changes to it. After that, I stopped relying on it too much as I wasnt sure whether or not the information I was receiving was correct. This article has multiple issues. This page.CONTENT

Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Last of the 23 Things. Delicious is one of those that I have used for some time now to keep my favorites for browsers. My only issue is that I have such a hard time keeping up with dead links that I am wishful for a link checker with this service! Library Thing and Good Reads. I think social media at libraries is great. Lots of people use all different types like the ones we just did.
Thursday, March 3, 2011. What do you think about social media in libraries? They absolutely have the ability of enhancing the library services. Facebook, Flickr, Blogging. These tools can bring to the public much more than advertisement. Social media can help create a virtual reference desk that goes beyond the physical location of the library. My choice falls between Flick.
