Tuesday, March 15, 2011. How we love him, but oh, how these months have been trying times. He is healthy and now, mostly happy. We are grateful for this. He loves to sleep in his bouncer. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Lorenzo still pretty much sleeps a lot. He is a super good sleeper. At about six weeks old, he started sleeping all night. I train them well, ha ha. Olive and I have had a lot of fun playing in her Disney princess castle. And with her water table. The water table is a favorite and we are glad when the weather permits us to play outside. I truly feel that blogs can be very beneficial if they are used appropriately. However, what constitutes as appropriate varies widely from grade level to grade level. I am not sure when it is developmentally appropriate to introduce blogs to students but I do feel that if introduced too early, the blog could become more of a deterrence than a learning tool.

I thought that this article made a very good point, in that a lot of teachers probably select one books for all of their students to read when that is not usually the best option. There is such a varying degree of reading levels among students in a given class. Each student should read a book that is at their specific instructional level, even if that means breaking the class up into several groups. Library of Alexandria ABC Page.
