Thursday, March 22, 2012. Garden Cheer and a bit of fungi thrown in! Spring has arrived early and the wild daffodils are out in the lane, I have even seen wild violets and the pussy willow is in full glow, its yellow furry catkins bouncing in the breeze like school girls tossing. Gardeners are making preparation for the new season and everyone is busy out. I would hate you to think that I have been lazy, it is just that I have been otherwise.

Another of our trips was to a local country park. The children and I packed up a lunch and set off with the dog. While we were there we made it our mission to find all the points on an orienteering map we found online. A castle entrance that Mlle. adored though Littleman was convinced there were dragons on the other side. And some rather wonderful wooden sculptures including a tipi in the centre of a spiral and a large wooden fish.
