Cooking in Kenzo

Thursday, August 6, 2015. Has it really been two and a half years since I posted anything here? Ive been feeling inspired lately and thought maybe I should try to write a weekly post. Ideally, Id like to buy a URL, get a custom design, and really try to make something of this, but baby steps. So whats happened since January 2013? 5 Were finally building our new house! It took nearly three years, but we are almost done with the money stuff and a builder is waiting to get to work. Hate on that if you.

When we moved here 14 years ago this house had to be completely updated. We spent a year painting, changing out lights, floor coverings etc. But the kitchen needed more, so we gutted it out and started from scratch. For 3 months we washed dishes in the tub,. And cooked on a hotplate in the hallway while the kitchen was being worked on. Rewiring, moving plumping, new drywall and texturing, and adding outlets and new lighting. My mom started making these many years ago when we still lived in St. Louis, and if I remember correctly, she had cut the recipe out of a Philadelphia newspaper before we moved to the Midwest from Philly.
