Wednesday, 15 February 2012. Lemon Marmalade, Carrot Hot-Pot. These two recipes come from FEBRUARY 2012 Good Food Magazine. I immediately made some Lemon Marmalade as I had bought far too many lemons over the Christmas period and it was such a good way to use them up. This recipe has produced a lovely, tangy preserve.

Saturday, January 24, 2009. Minty tomato, peach and nectarine salad. This year I planted various tomato bushes, one of them being a yellow tomato, which has been a huge success, bearing luscious fruit quite fastidiously. They are sweet, fleshy, very little seeds, and make a colourful dish. However from the very first mouthful, there were thumbs up all round.

Wednesday, 31 December 2014. A Mere Trifle; sweet things for New Years Eve. Raspberries and blackberries soaked in cherry brandy overnight and a little sugar added for a few hours in the morning. A bit of cutting and arranging of the sponge in the base of the bowl. Put the fruit over the sponge and arrange as a nice even layer. Pop it back in the fridge while we make the custard. While the custard is cooling, just lef.
