Monday, May 6, 2013. We reserved pods to move all of our stuff out this week, and then we can just drive out together next week once our stuff gets there. Monday, September 27, 2010. This year for the 4th we camped up Franklin Basin. The girls played with babies and had a beauty parlor. The boys played farm, rode bikes and made a fort. We had a scavenger hunt and a pinata. We had tons of fun at the Hyde Park celebration this year. There were fireworks, bouncy toys, food, a parade, and lots of games. Monday, January 23, 2012. there will be more posts coming to get us current! Halloween and The Pumpkin Walk. We made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Walk with Konnie and the kids. it was so much more enjoyable this year compared to others. Halloween was unusually warm this year too. it was nice! Ben and Ryker dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2. of course we had to go trick-or-treating together! The kids go.
Friday, February 10, 2012. Grandma and Grandpa Penrose Visit. We really enjoyed their company and all of their help. We are so grateful for them. On Saturday January 28th, we went to the golf course in Bloomington and fed the ducks. It was so nice to get out of the house and Layla just slept away in the car. Diesl enjoyed feeding them and just watching them do what they do. Such a beautiful January afternoon. I love him so much.
After we got through the pass we came upon The Cirque of the Towers. It is so beautiful there. I took the pictures I had taken of the Cirque and put them together for a panorama shot. I tend to get weather warnings from my mom which is how i heard about this one. not until thursday afternoon when we kept hearing about schools closing friday, public transit shutting down at 330, no cars allowed on the roads after 4, that we got a little nervous about what was actually coming.
