Thursday, March 1, 2018. December started off with a bang. Betts, who did his emergency surgery when he was a few weeks old, came to the rescue and took care of us once again. Spring is happening everywhere else in the world but here in the Lofoten Islands, Norway. It is still quite wintery. I am up here guiding ski touring in the mountains surrounding the beautiful village of Kabelvaag. Almost all ski tours start and end at the ocean.
