Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Mary Frances Corbin Donald passed away on April 14, 2015 at her home in Lynchburg, Virginia surrounded by her friend and caregiver Ann Youngblood. She was born in Madison County, Virginia on May 17, 1935 in what is now Shenandoah National Park. And the government programs that used it had a devastating impact on her family. 1833 - 1912 SON OF MARTIN and SARAH CLISER. SAMUEL DAVID CLISER and LAURA SHENK. Samuel David Cliser, 1868. Born 12-30-1833 in Page County to the parents of Martin and Sarah Clizer. Samuel was a soldier in the Civil War, 12th Virginia Calvary, 12th Regiment, Company G. Samuel died 2-19-1912, Samuel was both a farmer as well as a school teacher. Married to Laura Shenk in 1873. They had six children, and lived in what is now the Shenandoah National Park, Luray, Virginia.

Eve was born 7-31-1802, died 4-5-1876, daughter of Mathias and Barbara Clizer. Various records show her spelling her last name as CLISOR, even her death records.
