Laid on the couch, its cool leather on my skin. Gazed out the wall of windows, sky light blue, brushed soft yellow along the mountaintops,. Mountains still black and flat. By small and simple things are great things brought to pass. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. New York, New York! We had a very enjoyable trip to New York. The city was exciting and definitely does not sleep. Ithaca was a cool town and looked exactly like Eugene according to Danny. Palmyra was a nice visit too. So, So glad my parents watched the kids for us while we went on a vacation. A huge thank you to them with all the kids! Les Miserables on Broadway.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Well Jeff and I went on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise with our good friends R and C from Bend. We had a wonderful time. We left out of Miami and stopped at Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, St. Thomas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Grand Turk. This poor little bird had lost his feather but was growing them back. Loved the history of San Juan. A great collection of new and old.

Plus, I was getting a little bit burnt out on it-and he makes me look bad. Anyway. He and some of the other Young Men leaders at our church decided to challenge the young men in the Pole Pedal Paddle held every May. The event is just like it sounds-Skiing pole, Biking pedal, Kayaking paddle, and some running thrown in for good measure.CONTENT

Sunday, December 30, 2012. I hope when my kids are grown and have moved out. They will look back at their Christmases with us. With feelings of warmth, peacefulness, and joy. Christmas Eve we had a wonderful baked ham dinner with the company of friends from church and work. Followed by a little devotional complete with stories and Christmas hymns.
