Once upon a time there was a happily ever after! Monday, November 25, 2013. So I guess it is an appropriate time to post about Halloween, as we are fast approaching Thanksgiving. We had such a fun time dressing up, trick or treating and celebrating all month. Later that month my grandma Grieco came into town. We went to the Dallas Arboretum and played there. Friday, January 18, 2013. Sometimes I laugh when I think of my life 9 years ago. Craig and I had just started dating - he was a cool kid with tons of friends, no fears of skipping school, very little cares in the world and I was, well, pretty much the nerdiest of nerds as the yearbook editor and home economics scholar. How in the world did we ever hook up? It must have been fate. Craig wrote a memo almost a year ago with another student that was considered to have the BEST argument! Yep, she sure is! .
Friday, March 7, 2014. Night, by Ava Douglas. Last night Ava made a trip to my closet and came out with a little black hat and a red glitter scarf. She clicked around the house in little patent-leather heels; clipboard stacked with white paper in one hand, a purple pen in the other. I was on the patio having a glass of wine with our neighbor, Jen. Her son, Hoben, practiced the monkey bars. She read it to Jen and I and we were impressed! Thursday, December 27, 2012.
