These shots were taken from a fare distance,lets hope we get closer views in the future. a visit to the coast next to cresswell got use to see at least 200 common scoter,8 Red-throated divers. Newbigin Showed us 5 red-throated divers and three med-gulls. Love to see geese flying into land on the lake. Nice to get close to the wigeon.

Well I think I am going to give this blog writing another bash. Have been trying to develop a method which will make the butterfly really stand out. Currently am starting with dark tinted paper which means using some block white under the butterfly image and there lies the problem. Acrylic white makes it difficult to use watercolour over and gouache lifts too easily. However this is the latest attempt. Wednesday, 25 March 2015. Monday, 6 October 2014.
