I just finished my Design Challenge Project! And I really wish I had some students to test it out on.

Last week was my first week and it was really fun and pretty easy. There were about six or seven students, and they all were pretty independent when it came to their homework. I mostly just checked math problems and helped a first grade student with tricky words. On the walk back home, I thought about how everything went, and I came to a couple conclusions for myself.

Meeting with Antero gave me a new perspective on the different aspects of being an educator. One thing we discuss was how to connect to ESL students. This was interesting to discuss because I had never though about how I would teach an ESL student let alone how I would connect to them.
