Christmas Present

Mary and Baby Jesus. Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. Wednesday, 14 November 2012. What would the traditional Christian nativity story look like in a modern setting? Maybe these photos taken around the familiar places of the North East describe it. Perhaps they provide an opportunity to wonder what the nativity story is all about today. These days Christmas means different things to different people. Of course it begins from the story in the Bible. But what does this story mean to you? Photos by Kat Timmins.

Some of my birding adventures! Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Yesterday evening news popped up of a Golden Oriole. In Thirsk which is only about half an hour away so as you probably expected we were soon ready to go! We got a little lost at first but thankfully we found the fishing lakes where it had apparently been spotted. On the way in was a very nice bonus. We started walking towards the lakes on where it had been seen by and it came to our luck that we saw it straight away! Afterwar.
