Sunday, January 19, 2014. I was thinking the other day about basements. Basements can be places where fun or frolic happens. My Grandpa and Grandma Wine had one of these types of basements. I fondly remember many hours spent playing in the basement with my siblings and cousins. It was a place where we could be ourselves. One day, my brother stepped on a nail while we were down there. Basements can be places of safety, especially here in Kansas.
