And I dont mean, those friends you make at work or see regularly through some other avenue. but rather those people who you meet once or only for a brief period of time, and then what? Staying with Dawn and Peter in Singapore. We have been very lucky to have stayed with Peter, Dawn and Aayden while we have been in Singapore. Peter works for Fonterra here. They live in a gorgeous apartment complex with a beautiful swimming pool, tennis court, gym, squash court etc etc. Just like a resort to us humble Kiwis! I think we managed to put in two evenings until around 4am! While Bintan and Singapore are only an hour and a half a part, the contrast.
