In My Opinion . Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Thank Goodness Thats Over! Years ago, I was told by a former Council member that he really enjoyed his time on Council, it was running for office he hated. I can relate. We have an excellent and professional City Manager, and an excellent, functional Council - which is a good thing, because we still have significant challenges ahead.
