Welcome to CHOICES 2009 Courses Tauranga. The purpose of this blog is to keep you informed and updated on School Support Services courses running in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty area and to assist in your on-going professional learning.
Beginning Teacher courses for the greater Bay of Plenty region have been split into several groups according to teaching class levels.

KEY IDEAS FOR PROVIDING AN EXCITING GIFTED AND TALENTED MATHEMATICS PROGRAMME YEARS 4 - 8. This will be a mainly practical, hands-on activity day. These activities will exemplify important principles and considerations in providing for gifted and talented young mathematicians. These principles will be articulated and ideas will be shared about the identification processes and programme options for these students.
