Life in Beijing, China. Friday, September 4, 2009. Eds Great Wall of China. My buddy Ed has taken a 20yr. lease on a hutong, located in the mountain region north of Beijing. Its about a one hour drive from downtown - via sidecar of course! Big remodel and construction plans are ready to bring it up to standard.
