August 12, 2015. This past weekend we found ourselves without any plans and decided to make a last minute day trip to the mountains. Greg did quite a bit of research and found a park that was within reasonable driving distance 2.5 hours, had hikes Avery could do we knew wed be carrying B, and that allowed dogs.Fairy Stone Park! While the hike was challenging and more like 4.5 miles from start to finish it was gorgeous! We hiked a bit over a mile to a neat little waterfall where we enjoyed our picn.CONTENT
