A little tale about life after the big dream. Saturday, December 15, 2012. We have the horrible tragedy that took place in CT and the proposed end of the world around the corner on December 21, 2012. I cannot and do not want to imagine what the families and friends of the victims in CT are going through. It is and always has been a terrifying thought that someone, anyone, could just pick up a gun and do such horrific violence and damage.

Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.CONTENT

The Forty-First Annual Commencement Exercise took place in Charles City County on May 25, 2012. The Valedictorian was Logan Madison who graduated with a 4. The Salutatorian was Austin Holmes. The guest speaker for the graduation ceremony was Mr. Members of the Senior Class of 2012.
