My Adventures in Africa

My Adventures in Africa. Monday, June 15, 2015. Last day in Berega. Getting ready to leave has been a bit stressful to say the least. Because exams are this week, Ive spent most of my time writing, correcting, and printing off tests in 10 subject areas. I gave my English and Science tests on Thursday and I am so proud of my students. More than half passed with a 70 or higher in every class! Seriously, those kids are the best. So take care everyone, until next time! Sunday, May 3, 2015. Split the classes.

Teaching English and art in rural Tanzania. Around India in 30 Days. Day 1 December 8, 2015. As we walked from our hotel where we slept for the day leading up to our departure at 5, Chris stopped to gawk at the delightful array of street food decorating the sidewalk. Samosas, real fresh squeezed juices, chick peas- oh my! Now, as Chris sits across from me I am contemplating what this journey means for me, for us, how it will potentially effect our future and what it will teach us.
