Saturday, May 21, 2016. Just like every year, time has flown by fast! Leading up to our trip to Tanzania, Marin and I were getting our hands on any books we could about Africa. Standard 1A in our new classroom. Since our school year is on the opposite academic schedule as the West, we concluded our last school year in late November and began a brand new academic year in Januar.

As we walked from our hotel where we slept for the day leading up to our departure at 5, Chris stopped to gawk at the delightful array of street food decorating the sidewalk. Samosas, real fresh squeezed juices, chick peas- oh my! Now, as Chris sits across from me I am contemplating what this journey means for me, for us, how it will potentially effect our future and what it will teach us.
