The oil will contaminate the plugs and wires and cause misfires. Check the valve cover gasket for signs of leaks. Stick your finger into the plug galley, if it comes out with oil on it, replace the gasket. Never jump to the more severe solution when simpler solutions are often the answer.

Tuesday, October 25, 2011. S not the fuse, had that tested already,and not the bulbs. THEN REPLACE THE SWITCH ON THE TRANSMISSION THAT CONTROLS THE REAR LIGHTS. It is probably just an electrical conntection somewhere. do continuity check with a multimeter and track the wire to find a break or a bad ground. 93 Honda civic tail light out.
