Chalkdell Cottage is a small, self catering holiday cottage situated in a terrace of Grade II listed dwellings, built of local stone by quarrymen, originally for their own use. The cottage is believed to have been built over 200 years ago and is in the Herston Conservation area which is one of the oldest parts of Swanage. Monkey World, Lulworth Cove, Shell Bay, Durdle Door and Studland are all worth a visit and are not far from Swanage.
