I pull stuff here from my personal blog, photojournal, and my social networking blog and love quickpost questions! Why Do We Love Heroes? If these characters are so lonely and often depressed even, why do we relate to them? We certainly cannot leap tall buildings or reverse time or sling webs, yet there is something in the soul of a hero that makes us believe we can do these things, at least metaphorically. Perhaps the bridge to reality for us is the sidekick.
