These three buildings, were originally built as nurses accommodation. Today only one building is used by the Security contractor. Located at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, B. Friday, January 2, 2015. Brookside reopened, under new management. Was cleaned up a little, a coat of paint, and then it has been reopened for the male clients. See this posting for more information. Hopefully it will stay there for some time yet.

Colony Farm past - present - future. Saturday, October 08, 2016. Large fine for Forensic Hospital. Long time saga of the staff at the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital. WCB fines Coquitlam psychiatric facility. Will be interesting to see if this large fine has any effects on the procedures presently in use at this facility. Saturday, February 13, 2016.

Friday, August 2, 2013. New Westminster archives pictures of Crease. Here are three pictures all apparently in the Columbian Newspaper fonds at New Westminster Archives. All three appear to be taken on the same day, probably March 10, 1949 one of these photos also appears in the Hopitals Annual Reports. Dr Arthur Lionel Leonard Crease at his desk. Arthur and Florence Crease, probably inside the Crease Clinic.

East Lawn - Female Chronic building. Monday, February 24, 2014. East Lawn is the largest building at Riverview, and has been closed to patients since 2005, since that time the movie industry has been the primary user of the building. Download a PDF version of a brochure from 2005. That tells a little of the history of the building. I have placed 35 old and newer images in a East Lawn set on Flickr. Probably more one day when I find the time.

The Homes for the Aged, also includes the Valleyview 300 building, located on the Riverview Hospital grounds in Coquitlam, B. Monday, March 17, 2014. Recently found out that Nurses No. Residence was located upstairs in the BISCO. Another example of the diverse uses to which the buildings were put at Riverview, as a need arose, the hospital could quickly adapt a building to a new use. Sunday, September 15, 2013.
