Saturday, August 8, 2015. This year we celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful day full of many sweet memories. This year I was really missing my mom. She always did what she could to make the day special for us, such as babysitting or getting us a gift card to a pedicure or dinner. Sunday, November 8, 2015. Ramblings about orphan Sunday. That word, orphan, just hits me in the gut. I suppose because some of the most the important people in my life were considered orphans. Only theyre not. Theyre certainly not orphaned in the way I think of. Growing up I thought of orphans as children whos parents had died. Honestly most of my experience with the word orphan came from Disney movies. Its a time honored way to make a Disney movie. But thats not my boys. They do need a family. .CONTENT
