Thursday, 10 December 2009. Overall, I have enjoyed working through this module. Although the workload has been quite intense, the module has been very interesting. 3D modelling is not one of my strong points and probably not something I will be continuing very much with. However, it has been great learning new skills about 3D modelling, animating the models and learning the piece of software itself.
I feel I have worked hard on this group project to create accurately shaped and sized components of the steam engine. When modelling my allocated parts I found the photos I took whilst visiting the museum a much needed resource and believe from referring to these regularly throughout the modelling process I have created quite a realistic shape for the machine. Week 12- Review of Presentation. I was wary before doing our presentation as several groups .
Sunday, 6 December 2009. The overall project went brilliantly. If the Virtual Environments module was my only module I think I would have looked into adding more detail in the materials, trying longer animations with different views and possibly having a little more in the background instead of just a white one. I did, however, make one mistake which due to time restrictions cannot be rectified now. Friday, 4 December 2009. Lights, Camera, Action.

Present Dan Jackson, Colin Tse, Tina Mason, Jeremy Phillips. 1 Progress of project. The group feels that progress is going well with finishing touches to materials and animation to do before the final rendering and video creation. Tuesday, 8 December 2009. At long last the completion of the full video of our environment and engine is over. This weeks was a full on group presentation in which is presented to all the groups in the module and to the staffs of the Museum. Sunday, 6 December 2009.
