Sunday, August 1, 2010. The Big Hole and the Big Jump. The chilling out continues as we slip into the show San Pedro rhythm. One of my favourite things is the warm banana loaf which found us for breakfast nestled in a basket on top of beautifully dressed Mayan womens heads. They wear long, thick, woven skirts fixed tightly above the waist with beaded belts depicting tropical birds or flowers. Wednesday, November 22, 2006. One marble at a time. The story below is one of those junk e-mails that one is asked to pass forward. I have often talked of quality of life isues on this blog and I thought this story would be relevant here. Every Saturday since then, I have taken one marble out and thrown it away. I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I focused more on the really important things in life.
