I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Iowa State University. I earned a PhD in history and philosophy of science from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, I have taught at Yale. Universities and served for a time as managing editor of the. Journal of the History of Philosophy. My teaching and research focuses on the history and philosophy of science, especially during the early modern period. I am particularly interested in the structure of scientific theories and theory change.
