Spring 09 in Japan. Saturday, July 25, 2009. Tachikawa Matsuri and Fireworks. Went back to Tachikawa today to enjoy the Summer Matsuri and Fireworks.and as expected, it was wonderful! We went there early at around 2 pm to grab a good seat on the lawn and then walked around the park-stumbled upon a traditional Japanese garden with a wonderful view of the lake-and waited until everyone else arrived so we could enjoy the fireworks which started at around 730pm and went on for an hour.
