Of course the majestic mountains and enchanting deserts were now in my rear view mirror and etched in my memory, but this was still part of the journey. As i drove out of Colorado into western Kansas everything flattened.and then flattened some more. DAY 29 Rocky Mountain High.Colorado. With apologies to John Denver. I pulled up to the Park Rangers stat.
