Making a difference one scarf at a time! Everyone in the group has been working away diligently on blankets of assorted sizes for Project Linus. We will be donating the blankets to the Hamilton branch of the project in mid-April. I thought you might like an update on what is going on with. Casting On for a Cause.
We divided up our work for Rose of Durham, Bethesda House and Durham Hospice. The donations that went to these charities included 11 slippers, 19 lapghans, 10 large blankets, 28 baby blankets, 12 jackets, 7 hats, a dress, and booties. All of our hats scarves and mitts for winter we have kept until Fall. All photos therefor can be found on our Facebook page. Sunday, 8 June 2014.

I love the colours in this one, so pretty for a girl. And this one for a boy or a girl. From Beth, the next two afghans for 360 KIDS,. A tulip blanket from Beth. And this baby blanklet. This blanket I used the HDC stitch and used three clours. I love the way it turned out. And a hat and scarf set from Sally.CONTENT

Casting on Love is my personal charity group which I have had for a number of years. I have now decided to use the power of blogging to gather more friends to participate.
