Russ and I attended a delightful paella party hosted by our dear friend, Vicky. What makes a paella party a party is the collaborative preparation activities. SILENT WORDS

Wednesday, November 10, 2010. I have hated the city and then loved the city and then hated it and then loved it and this cycle never ends. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. Currently, I wish I was living in a city, in a high-rise building which has one of those big windows that overlook a myriad of lights, traffic and buildings around. Somehow it makes me feel lonely in a way I want to feel.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. This piece was done in my 9 x 12 sketchbook with pens and spots of inktense pencils. By the way, I do live in California and it does seem as though the whole state is on fire. We can see smoke on the horizon, but the air is still OK for daily activity here in Sacramento. Friday, July 31, 2015. It was fun watching this piece unfold. Oh yes, I added a multi colored yarn.
