We cycled the last 27 miles with a group from the Cleveland area who traveled with Go Tour Go out of Pittsburgh, leap-frogging them and finally seeing them and their support vans in Georgetown when we got to the city. Friday, January 7, 2011. We arose early this morning and had a delicious breakfast of fruits, breads, eggs, yogurt, cheese, meat and cafe before leaving the pousada. It was a short taxi ride to the Campanha Metro station where we caught the purple line to the aeroporto. As we were passing through the departure area, a small jazz combo was playing;. We flew to Newark where we transferred to a flight to Kansas City and arrived shortly after 6 pm.
