Ela se foi com o coração na mão e um sorriso falso nos lábios. A boca entreaberta, como quem assinala uma confissão de falta de ar. Partiu em busca de outros gases, bem menos venenosos, bem mais explosivos. Trazia consigo a mala pronta, os porta-retratos numa sacola de compras antiga de papelão, muito bem dobrada, que esperava ansiosa o dia em que seria usada.
