Wednesday, August 13, 2008. About the same time, Rees William Davis and his wife, Margaret Walters, and their children left Wales and arrived in Springville, Utah. So there was Rees William Davis without a wife and Susannah Garlick Wakefield without a husband in Springville, Utah. They got married 11 April 1860, in Springville, Utah. Then, Rees William Davis died just 4 months later on 4 August 1860, in Springville, Utah. About 1901, James and his family moved to Milo, Idaho.
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Rees William Davis was born in Glamorgan, Wales. He married Margaret Walters there and they had seven children. Rees and Margaret were converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Glamorgan, Wales. They decided to join the saints in Utah and boarded a ship called the Chimborazo for America. When they finally reached Springville, Utah, Margaret died. She is buried in the Springville, Utah Cemetery.
