I really cannot understand why anyone would want endless pictures of themselves, with or without acquaintances, pulling silly faces. More good public art making people stop and think about space in a different way. I saw a photo of the new Fourth Plinth statue in the paper a few weeks back and was unmoved. My first sighting of it today made me stop and stare; a child playing amongst monuments to war. It just shows how important context can be to public art installations.
