Friday, February 17, 2012. Monday, January 16, 2012. Well its time to reflect on what we have done. So far the project has been successful, bamboo is a very do-able material for boat building. Remember that like many other materials bamboo was not used in its original format. The reconstituted bamboo ie. strips have been glued to form a typical ply board. We ripped the board into planks and then built the hull the same as any other strip plank construction. More detail on the construction method later.
