The Candlelight Vigil Peace Demonstrations were held each week in memory of all who had died or been seriously wounded in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In all we held 303 peace vigils, from January, 2006 to January, 2012. A Prayer In Our Hearts. As the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War, the Syrian War, the War in Yemen and other wars continue, they are a compelling reminder to each of us to keep all of the victims, the men, women and children in our prayers and in our hearts.
