This will be our walk of a life time. From France to the coast of Spain along the Camino Frances. Thanks to John and Robin Pigott for leading the way. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Karen helped Stuart to adjust his pack outside the albergue in Burgos. We bumped into them in Leon. Small encounters like this happened many times along the Camino. Those we encountered who helped us along the way will be a part of our story telling.
Friday, August 10, 2012. We had some extra days, before leaving for home in California, so we decided to take two side trips, La Coruna and Ferrol. We then went to lunch and had tropical salads. Monday, June 15, 2015. It was lightly raining when we left Rothenburg on the 0800 train towards Wurzburg. One transfer later we arrived with 30 minutes to spare prior to catching the fast train to Frankfurt . The train to Frankfurt was an hour late which is very unusual. Once again we stayed at the Bristol Hotel. Those manning the check in desk were very polite and helpful. The morning meal was included and service started at 0630. After checking in we went to the SkyLine Plaza.
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. The Goslings of Bolton, Sue and George, took over our entertainment providing us with lodging; and, endless hours behind the wheel taking us to places they thought we would enjoy, BlackPool. The walled city of Chester. Now in Edinburgh, we spent yesterday walking to and exploring the Royal Gardens. After taking the city tour on the Hop on Hop off red bus. Today we plan to walk to and explore, The Castle.
Thursday, October 27, 2016. Joan and Stuart decided to drive along the North Coast of California in our Roadtrek camper van. We started from Petaluma, California with a destination of Prairie Creek Redwood State Park. Prairie Creek Redwood State Park. The only original building, all others rebuilt.
