Shorter walk this year but no less enjoyable. Monday, 21 June 2010. My journey has been a personal challenge but I am well aware of how much help I have received from others. I would like to thank everyone who has followed my progress, especially those that took the time to write comments on my Blog or text me. It really did help to spur me on when the going got tough. Day 68 Mon 21st June.

Monday, 20 June 2011. We walked just over 300 miles in 20 days, an average of 15 miles a day. We camped every night, average price about 6. With food bought in shopscafes and evening meals in pubs I spent about 20 a day. So the whole trip, excluding beer, cost me about 400. As regards to the brown isotonic reviver, I sampled 43 different real ales, many of which were regional ones that I had never tried before.
