Charlie and Marys Alaska Adventures. Friday, February 8, 2013. This was a fabulous stop right on the scenic Highway US 101. It was great hiking and so very much to see. Hope my photos will show the true place of wonder that it was! None of my photos of actual burl on the trees came out good enough to see. Burl wood is so beautiful, but interesting that no one knows why it grows. Many Weddings take place in this cathedral made of nine living trees! There were breathtaking views! We are still in AWE!CONTENT
