5 Successes, Fails and Improvements. 1 Working on live briefs, although it has influenced my work I have gained valuble knowledge into dealing with clients and has led to further commissions, freelance work and industry contacts. 2 Using tutorials effectively, i found these very beneficial in initial research stages to discuss thoughts and ideas with someone else than just myself. These were also documented well and could be referenced later.
By far this module has brought to light a realism of the design process, working within the real world beyond the studio. Setting up a business within the current climate is particularly difficult and off-putting, but with what has been taught within the seminars and lectures that anything in business is possible with the right planning and detailing. A bulleted summary of things that were good, bad and what I will improve upon. Professionally finished and crafted deliverables that was presented well through well considered stock choices, formats, photography and layout. Produced more than 1 typeface for the brief. Produced a conceptual typeface which resulted in being in the line for a placement at Raw Design in Manchester. I could have produced some explored and proposed quick online content for the brief.
