Tuesday, October 30, 2012. A long weekend in Hongkong. Some weeks ago we decided to do a short trip to Hong Kong over the Hari Raja Haji weekend in October. This city really has it all. Budhist temples with beautifully detailed interiors. And nice smelling incensce sticks in the roof. The highest number of sky scrapers in the world. Glass buildings in almost all colors of the rainbow.
Sunday, April 10, 2011. We had no problems finding things to do for our last 4 days in Kuching. The charming, stylish city itself would easily keep you busy for two-three days and in close distance, there are several interesting attractions of which we visited two, the Bako National Park and Sarawak cultural village. This invited the Proboscis Monkeys to come down from the forest and feed.

After leaving on January 10 from Vang Vieng to Ventiane, we arrived there in the afternoon after a 4h bumpy and curvy ride.Ventiane, the capital of Laos was not very inspiring, especially on a sunday when halv of the city is closed. We went to bed decently early as we had to get the taxi to the airport 0500 next morning. We had the flight at 0650 from Ventiane via Pakse to Siam Reap in Cambodia,. Middle .CONTENT
