April 08 - WA Border to Gibb River Road. 26th April - A pleasant evening hiking and quite camp at Keep River National Park, we were up early as usual and soon at the quarantine check point. Barry was very good, and interesting to talk to, he would stop, 21 years in Kununurra. Checked the vehicle, van cupboards and fridge. Mind you it was a cursory look. The graders had just completed the last section near Mt Barnett. No tire damage on the Gibb section of road! This is more like it! An old gravel pit off the dusty Gibb and out of sight.
Bushabout - June 08 Port Hedland. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. We departed Cape Keraudren in the rain, all the way to Port Hedland pretty much. It was good to see, but it rained for four days and heavy at times. Found out we need to run it hot to DE-coke occasionally.
