We got the hospital and I was hooked up to the monitor and immediately I could tell that what I was experiencing was indeed contractions, and that they were much more regular than I had suspected. Everyone knows someone who had cancer, it went into remission and then it came back. Maybe once more, maybe twice, but it just seems to keep coming back. I call Cancer the gift that keeps on giving.
