Monday, January 31, 2011. The background is comprised of pieces of fabric that I cut and sewed together, and then stretched onto stretcher bars to make a canvas. I painted the doll with acrylic paint, and then sewed it onto the canvas with embroidery thread. Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

Thanks to the magic of Facebook, an old friend from my growing up days answered when I said I was looking for something to do a painting of. She sent me a photograph of her son and I started painting. I drew this first little person. and then I just kept going.
