She did really well, but we thought that since this was her first litter she would only have 4-5 puppies. Well, she had 5 puppies in the first 45 minutes and we thought she was done. An hour later she had 3 more! While 8 puppies helps my cause to go to Disneyland at Christmas, 8 puppies has been a challenge to take care of! .

This year, we flew into Portland and then drove to Seattle. I really loved the Portland Saturday Market, and then we hiked Multnomah Falls. My heart sank! I have gotten used to the babies passing milestone after milestone, but Luke has kind of gotten in a groove, so all of the sudden it hit me, he is growing up.
