Its time for snow to go. Friday, February 5, 2010. I cant remember if the snow has ever lasted this long in the 30 years Ive lived in Amarillo. Usually, it snow and three or four days later its gone. This year the temperatures have been low and the sun has been obscured by clouds, so the Texas Panhandle version of the frozen tundra has yet to melt. Is this the beginning of climate change in the Panhandle? Will we have to wait for spring break to get some warm weather into the area? So now were waiti.
